The Aim of my Pottery

I really enjoy making functional tableware which is good to look at and comfortable in the hand. My pots are once fired to stoneware temperature (1230C), making them robust for everyday use at the table.

There are two styles .... the Seagreen range which uses my own recipe glaze inside and outside the pot. The Moorland range having the seagreen glaze on the inside and rim, then a mix of oxides and colours on the outside.

All work is dishwasher and microwave proof, also fine in a medium hot oven if heated reasonably gradually. Mugs and cups are a favourite.....used several times a day, handled, and put in the mouth so a best mug is a comfort for years.
